Festival of Trees
The Family Tree Nurturing Center – Billings Exchange Clubs’ Child Abuse Prevention Center will host
its 37th Annual Festival of Trees event Thursday, December 1st through Saturday, December 3rd at the MetraPark
Pavilion.
There will be a Winter Wonderland with 38 beautifully decorated trees to be auctioned off and a silent
auction! The Gala Dinner and Tree Auction will be held on Thursday December 1st at 6:00pm at the MetraPark
Pavilion. Tickets to the dinner and Gala Auction are $75 per person or $800
for a corporate table which includes a reserved table of 8, recognition at the event and in the program, and 2
complementary bottles of wine.
The event funds The Family Tree Nurturing
Center’s programs, which provide support and education for parents and caregivers, in order to Build Strong
Families and Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect in our community. Services are provided to all families in the
community. The Family Tree Nurturing Center is a private non-profit agency and The Festival of Trees is its main
fundraiser.
This year’s decorations will be a must see on everyone’s list. The theme is Silent Night. Shop over 50 vendors at
the Gift Boutique! Find great holiday gift ideas for family and friends or treat yourself with something special. There will
be local handmade gifts, home décor, stocking stuffers and more. This year they will have a
synthetic ice-skating rink! Yellowstone Valley Skating Center will have their synthetic ice available for kids and adults to
try out and they will be performing skating demonstrations.
There is a whole weekend full of events for people of all ages:
Friday, December 2nd Tea in the Trees 1pm to 3pm where guests can stroll through the beautifully decorated trees,
shop at the Gift Boutique and enjoy tea, coffee, cider and goodies while being entertained with live music, a style show
by Dillard’s emceed by Victoria Hill, & door prizes! Tickets are $12.00 in advance, $15.00 at the door and $10 for
seniors. Reserved tables of 8 are available for $80.
Admission to the Festival of Trees Friday 3pm – 8pm & Saturday all day is:
$5 per person and $15 per family (2 adults); children 6 and younger are free.

The Family Tree Nurturing Center provides a variety of programs for families including Parenting Classes using the
Nurturing Parenting Curriculum which facilitates knowledge in child development, positive guidance, self-care, and
more, in age-appropriate classes. In – Home Parent Mentoring provides families of children ages 0 – 17 with a Family
Advocate who will work individually with them on goals identified together to help lesson the stressors within the home
and improve family relationships. Respite Childcare provides quality, nurturing childcare at no cost to parents and
caregivers. Family Fun Nights provide families with a time to participate in activities, games, crafts and a meal
together along with other families. Montana Women’s Prison Parenting Program provides 8 parenting classes and
groups, one-on-one parent/child mentoring visits, and monthly kid’s day activities at the prison. Families Impacted by
Incarceration provides services designed to work with both the incarcerated parent and caregivers so that their
children have a stable, supportive environment in which they have the best chance of succeeding, both personally and
socially and Prevention Programs which teach parents, teachers, childcare workers, service groups and others about
recognizing, reporting, and preventing child physical abuse, sexual abuse and neglect.
