Ema: Japanese New Year’s Tradition
New Year’s is the most important holiday in Japan, with many traditions. On Saturday, January 28th at 10 am join MSUB’s Japanese Outreach Initiative Coordinator, Kaoru Mori, as she shares one such tradition with us, Ema. Ema is a small plate on that people write their New Year’s wishes on. You will make your own Ema and write down your own wishes for the New Year. This program is open to children ages 6-12 and registration is required.
