Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s upcoming free, virtual Alzheimer’s educational conference for Montana residents
The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America will be hosting a free, virtual Alzheimer’s educational conference for Montana residents on September 29th as part of the National Educating America Tour. The conference was initially supposed to take place in person back in March, but it had to be postponed and moved virtually due to COVID-19.
The conference is designed to educate people in the community, particularly caregivers, and to provide valuable information, including local resources. Attendees will learn things such as long term care planning, brain health and wellness, caregiver strategies, and more. The conference will also be providing tips for healthy aging and how to stay safe during COVID-19. Special guest appearance by TV’s Dr. Oz, who will talk about his experiences with his mother who is living with Alzheimer’s disease.
