CHARITY BINGO FOR BILLINGS FOOD BANK
BILLINGS, MONT.—The Squire Lounge is hosting a Charity Bingo Night Tuesday, August 28th from 7-9:00 p.m. at 1525 Broadwater Avenue. Interested parties can reserve tables of six by calling the Squire at 259-9737 on the day of the event. Cost to participate is $25 per player for six, six-game BINGO cards. Half of the proceeds for the game go to the Billings Food Bank. The remaining funds will be paid out to individual BINGO game winners.
Players will enjoy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef David Maplethorpe of the Fortin Culinary Center at Billings Food Bank. Chef Maplethorpe is the former head chef of The Rex.
For more than 30 years. The Billings Food Bank has served those less fortunate in our community and region. During the 2017 fiscal year, the Billings Food Bank provided 151,935 regular food boxes; 57,600 food boxes through the Senior Nutrition Program, 26, 528 food boxes through the voucher system; 273,691 meals and snack lunches in addition to food boxes; 15,723 Holiday food boxes; and 28,070 meals provided to other service organizations. In all, the Billings Food Bank processes more than 17 million pounds a food thanks to the generous donations of the community.
