HRDC’s 5th Annual Play Date at the Zoo
On Thursday, June 14th, 2018, HRDC is taking over ZooMontana from 1:00pm to 7:00pm, for their 5th Annual Play Date at The Zoo. HRDC invites all families and kids ages 0-8 to this fun-filled event!
“This event has grown more than we could have ever imagined,” says Barb Perzinski, HRDC Senior Director – Child Care Program. “We created it to provide a venue where families can spend quality time together and learn about services available through community resources.” They are expecting over 5,000 people to attend.
The event will feature educational games, face painting, a scavenger hunt, an obstacle course, live entertainment, snacks, and of course, the chance to explore the animals of ZooMontana. HRDC staff, as well as representatives from other community organizations, will be on-site offering information about resources available to families.
“We are excited to see thousands of kids and families join together for an afternoon and evening of fun,” stated Perzinski. “This event is a great way to support and strengthen families in our community.”
Play Date at The Zoo is free to the public, and includes free admission to the Zoo, as well as free snacks, while supplies last.
